Create an email account in cPanel

Step-by-step guide to create a mailbox like [email protected] inside cPanel Email Accounts.

Business email on your domain looks professional and keeps customer conversations under your brand. Use cPanel to create mailboxes in a few minutes.

Steps

  1. Log in to cPanel.
  2. Open Email Accounts (under the Email section).
  3. Select the domain if your account hosts more than one.
  4. Click Create / + Create.
  5. Enter the local part only (for example info to get [email protected]).
  6. Set a strong password (or use the generator).
  7. Optionally set a mailbox quota, then create the account.

After creation

  • Test login in Webmail before configuring Outlook or a phone.
  • Share credentials securely with the teammate who will use the mailbox.
  • Do not reuse the same password across every mailbox.

  • Forwarders — send copies to another address.
  • Autoresponders — out-of-office replies.
  • Spam Filters — reduce junk mail.

Common issues

“No space left” means the hosting plan or mailbox quota is full — raise the quota or free disk space. “Domain not listed” usually means the domain is not assigned to this cPanel account yet; contact support if you expected it to appear.
